Ashlee Cerda: I’m a native cheesehead from Oshkosh, Wisconsin and a senior Biology and Spanish double major with a chemistry minor.  In the future I am interested in attending graduate school for public health.  When I am not busy urban achieving with the Center for Urban Ecology at Butler, you can find me laughing on the lacrosse field, dreaming of rainforests and enjoying a veggie sandwich.

Caroline Bloemkre: I am a senior Biology major from Columbia City, Indiana. I would like to attend graduate school someday, focusing on biomedical sciences. When I am not working at the Friesner Herbarium here at Butler or listening to the sweet sounds of John Mayer on my iPod, I am watching one of my favorite teams–the Colts, Celtics, and Bulldogs!

Hi my name is Chris Siegel and I am a Senior Biology and Science, Technology, & Society major from Shelbyville, Kentucky.  While at Butler I have been involved in Delta Tau Delta Fraternity,  the Interfraternal Council, and the Timmy Foundation.  I am a huge baseball and Cincinnati Reds fan.  I also love to cook and my life goals are to become a pediatrician and promote health around the globe.

Duwan Morris: I am a Junior this year. My major is Science, Technology and Society. I am also considering a Spanish minor. I hail from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. My post-graduate aspiration is to become a registered pharmacist. While at Butler I have been involved heavily in the Black Student Union. I also am a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and have been since the spring semester of my freshman year (2009). My hobbies include reading, sleeping, and social activities.

Hey, I’m Andrew Banks, a senior Biology major at Butler University. Ultimately, I hope to go to medical school and get a masters in Public Health. Beyond academics, I am involved in Delta Tau Delta and the Timmy Foundation and am an avid sports fan.

Hi my name is Howie Wiesjahn and I am a Junior Science, Technology and Society major from the small town of New Carlisle, Indiana. A major interest and hobby of mine is listening to music and playing in a band on weekends. Sciences and health have always been an interest of mine and in the future I plan to attend graduate school and become a physical therapist.

Hi my name is Hal Frederick Oberholzer blog name HFO.  I am senior biology student, with a major interest in medicine and health.  I am from Auburn Indiana and am excited to become involved in this class.  In my free time, I l like to have a good time.  Get at me if you want to know anything else.

My name is Robbie Foote, and I am a Bio/Spanish major in my senior year at Butler. My current post-grad plans are to pursue a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (School TBD). This semester, I am serving as an intern at Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park, where I am assisting with resource management and research. When I’m not there or in class, I’m usually riding my bike or singing, or riding my bike while singing.

Hello, my name is  Ben Macias. I’m a senior at Butler University. I am helping lights out Indy for two reasons, the first being that I want to make a difference in the world around me, the second that it counts for a class for my major. I’m not the best writer in the world but I will try to make my blogs at fun as possible.
